The Mughal gardens, such as Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, showcase intricate horticultural designs against a backdrop of majestic mountains. Rich in cultural heritage, the region boasts historic sites like Shankaracharya Temple and Hazratbal Shrine. However, Kashmir’s charm extends beyond its landscapes, encapsulating a resilient spirit and warm hospitality that leaves an indelible mark on every visitor.

Itinerary
- Arrival at Srinagar Airport you will drive towards Hotel / Houseboat. Afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and paper machine making demonstration. Overnight Stayat Houseboat / Hotel in Srinagar.
- After breakfast you will leave for full day excursion to Sonamarg which is also known as “Meadows of Gold”.The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2.5 Hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Overnight at the Hotel / Houseboat in Srinagar.
- After breakfast you will leave towards Pahalgam which is also known as “Trekkers paradise”. The distance of about140 kms will be covered in about4 – 6 Hrs. En-route visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot ofrice fields. Drive through the pine forest. After reaching have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.Overnight at the Hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast enjoy an excursion to Chandanwari (3288mts) and Betaab valley.Betaab valley is the place where the famous scenes from movie Betaab were shot (on your own). Evening free for the leisure. Overnight at the Hotel in Pahalgam.
- After breakfast you will leave from Pahalgam to Gulmarg which is also known as “Meadows of Flower”. . The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 Hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view en-route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Overnight at the Hotel in Gulmarg.
- After breakfastbegin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes rope Way, at your own cost). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Overnight at the Hotel in Gulmarg.
- After breakfast you will leave for Srinagar. Afternoonsightseeing of MughalGardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jahangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jahangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. En-route visit carpet‐weaving factory. Evening free for personal activities such as shopping etc. Overnight at the Hotel / Houseboat in Srinagar.
- Today you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to catch flight for onward destination with sweet holiday memories.
