    Itinerary

    Day 01: Arrive – Leh | Shanti Stupa | Leh Palace
    • On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh (situated at a height of 3,500 meters), you will be transferred to your hotel (2-3 kilometers from airport). This is one of the most sensational flights in the world. During the day, acclimatize yourself with the weather and high pressure of Ladakh. After noon visit to Shanti Stupa Shanti Stupa is situated on a hilltop in Chanspa. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. Shanti stupa has provided beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and has become a primary reason for to become a popular tourist attraction. It was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between the people of Japan and Ladakh. The stupa is open for tourists between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sunrise and sunset are considered to provide the best views from Shanti Stupa.
    •  Leh Palace: This palace was constructed during the 17th century, under the patronage of King Singe Namgyal. It served as the regal residence of the Namgyal dynasty until the mid-19th century, after which the royal family permanently shifted to Stok.

    Day 02: Leh - Sham Valley Tour – Leh (Own by Bike)
    • After breakfast at hotel proceed for Sham Valley which includes Hall of fame, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hills, Sangam, Spituk.
    •  Hall of FameThe Hall of Fame, located near the Leh Airfield, is a museum constructed as well as maintained by the Indian Army in the memory of the soldiers who had lost their lives during the Indo-Pak wars.
    •  Gurdwara Pathar Sahibis a beautiful Gurdwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, The Gurdwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith. 
    • Magnetic Point:  is a gravity hill located on Srinagar – Leh National highway. The hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference; in reality, the effect is an optical illusion created by the gravity hill. 
    • Sangam: is the confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar. Just the view of Sangam Valley from the road above it can make you swoon in ecstasy. The colours of the two rivers can be distinctly seen at the confluence. It is an amazing place to sit, relax, and enjoy a picnic with family and friends.

    Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass
    • After an early breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered as the highest motorable pass of the world. Once you arrive at Khalsar drive on the left towards Diskit& Hunder Village. Check in at your camp/Hotel. Visit Hunder Village and sightseeing of Sand Dunes. Hunder is a small village where the Shyok River meets Nubra River. Hunder lies on the ancient silk rout. Hunder is most popular for the camel rides. Enjoy Camel Safari (OPTIONAL) on the shabby double-humped Bactrian camels, which in olden days were the main mode of transport on the Ladakh-Yarkhand (Turkmanistan) trade. The Safari goes along the soft white sandy deserts with rolling sand dunes. 
    • Overnight at Camp | Hotel in Nubra.
    Day 04: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok
    • After breakfast at your camp drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok.  This direct route from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso has now become more popular in the recent past years Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso instead of coming back to Leh. Drive from Nubra to Pangong via Agham – Shyok and Continue drive to Pangong drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Pangong Lake is salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven colour formations in the crystal-clear salt-water lake. All together it covers 604 km2. During winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. It’s reported there are no fish or other aquatic life in the lake. On the other hand, you will see numerous ducks and gulls over and on the lake surface. 
    • Overnight at Camp | Hotel in Pangong.
    Day 05: Pangong Lake – Leh
    • During early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Post breakfast, drive back to Leh through Changla Pass. On the way visit 3 Idiots School: The school was featured in a 2007 episode as the Aamir Khan movie 3 Idiots. The school, where some parts of the 3-Idiots film was shot, is supported by international donors as well as Indian celebrities like actor Ameer Khan. open for tourists between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sunrise and sunset are considered to provide the best views from Shanti Stupa. Shey Palace, the erstwhile royal residence of the Ladakh monarchs, is the main attraction of Shey. The palace was built by King Deldan Namgyal in 1655 AD. Namgyal also made Shey his summer capital. It offers views of a vast expanse of the surrounding valleys. Thiksey: Spectacularly sighted, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa. There are several temples in this gompa, containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.

    Day 06: Leh – Airport
    • Waking up early in the morning, enjoy delicious breakfast and get to say bye to the enchanting environs of Ladakh. Pack your bags and weave all the pleasant memories of your amazing Ladakh tour, as you will be dropped at the Leh Airport for your onward journey.
